Innovative Micro-Schooling
PreK-3rd Grade
At Madison Valley Adventure Academy we encourage children to progress at their own pace while gaining valuable experience collaborating with peers in a mixed-age classroom.
We utilize an approach that values outdoor play, nature-based education, and highly individualized interest-based work that allows each child to deeply engage and challenge themselves. We use Montessori methods and educational manipulatives to help children to grow in language and math skills.We use a project-based approach to science and social studies we work through multi-week units that blend various academic areas for an immersive experience.
We also prioritize social emotional learning through the implementation of a social-emotional skills-based curriculum and work hard to ensure we are meeting the social and emotional needs of each child and our school community. Through individual and small group lessons, we are able to meet each child where they are in their academic journey to help encourage unique and engaged lovers of learning.

This program is currently offered to children in grades PreKinder-3rd grade who are 4 years old to 11 years of age.
This program currently enrolls a maximum of between 14 and 16 children total.
We have a 4 day school week Mondays through Thursdays 9am-3pm.
PreK is offered either 2 days or 4 days per week.
